 Mar Lan Construction has established itself in Lawrence, Douglas County, and the surrounding area as a commercial general contractor providing professional construction services for commercial and industrial projects. The company was founded in June 1999 in Lawrence, Kansas as a limited liability company. The owners are Gale Lantis, Brian Lantis, and Kevin Markley. Mar Lan Construction's focus is on three types of project delivery - negotiated, construction management, and design/build. These methods allow each team member to use their skills to accomplish the best possible results for the project Owner. Each design professional and construction professional has earned a place on the team by managing their organizations and conducting themselves at the highest level of professionalism attainable for their area of expertise. Mar Lan Construction's bidding procedure allows for the development of an acceptable budget prior to the completion of final design documents. Each team member is then able to understand the complete picture and, as a result, value engineering becomes an integral and on-going process throughout the design and construction phases of each project.
