McDonald's - 6th Street 4911 W. 6th Street Lawrence, Kansas Interior renovations included enlarging the dining areas, adding a second cook line in the kitchen, remodeling the restrooms, and replacing the "Playplace Toy". Exterior elevations were enhanced by incorporating design elements featured in new McDonald's restaurants. A second drive-thru lane was added to serve the increased volume of drive-thru traffic. All was accomplished without having to close the restaurant for a single day!
