Through an interview process, Mar Lan Construction was selected as Central National Bank’s general contractor for a major expansion effort for the Lawrence area.
The first phase of the expansion was the construction of two branch banks in Lawrence, the Nieder branch, and the Harper branch. Though similar in scope and size, details of the two branch banks were dictated by site demands. These banks are wood and steel framed structures with brick and cast stone veneers and standing seam metal roofing. The masonry was accented by an architectural Trespa panel above the brick. The window frames are a custom blue with butt-glazed glass. This branch bank has a partial basement with a light-weight deck above.
